Adoption of an NRO-like WWP internship as a DoD-wide program that includes the following objectives:
- Increase our ability to retain our highly trained, skilled, and experienced workforce.
- Provide our military members with additional skills that are critical to the Department’s mission and more specifically to the fight against terrorism.
- Provide DoD agencies and Defense contractors an opportunity to increase representation of employees with disabilities and veterans in their workforce.
- Make available to DoD agencies and Defense contractors a talent pool of wounded warriors possessing a top secret (TS) clearance with sensitive compartmented information (SCI) eligibility and appropriate competencies.
